
Everlea (she/her) is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, a Pilates Teacher trainer, Balanced Body Educator and Board of Directors Emeritus for the Pilates Method Alliance where she also served as Chairperson for the Membership committee. Everlea is a 2008 honors graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Theatre and Dance, with a degree in Dance Performance and a minor in African Studies, with a concentration in African Performance Art. She also graduated with a Certificate in Dance and Healing earned from the Center for the Arts and Healthcare Research (CAHRE). With UF and Shands Hospital’s CAHRE and Arts in Medicine (AIM) programs, Everlea co-founded a program called Traffic Art and Dance Exchange. "Traffic" is a program for kids and teens living with sickle cell disease (SCD). For her successful work with CAHRE and Traffic, she was interviewed by Sara Versluis of Dance Teacher Magazine and her story was featured in the Magazine’s June 2011 issue. Everlea was also interviewed by Kate Mattingly for Dance Magazine's April 2024 issue about "Why Dancers Make Great Pilates and Gyrotonic Instructors".
As a contemporary dance artist, Everlea has danced with DC Contemporary Dance Theatre, Dance & BMore, and Deep Vision Dance Company. With professional ballet, she danced for Kirova Ballet Company in Hallandale Beach, FL and Kirova’s sister company, Space Coast Ballet in Melbourne, FL. During her professional dance training, Everlea attended Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts in Kent, CT/New York, NY; The Ailey School in New York, NY; and New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL. Her early training was gained through Showtime Children’s Dance Studios (FL) where she is a lifetime scholarship student. Her charge is helping others live happier, healthier and more productive lives physically, emotionally, artistically and mentally.

Christi began taking Pilates in 2023 at Pilates, Health & Dance by Everlea Studio and fell in love with The Method. She is a 2024 graduate of our 650-hour comprehensive Pilates program, led by Everlea Bryant, NCPT. Interested in working with Christi? Haille comes to us from California, bringing several years of teaching experience from the West Coast. Her Pilates training is based on the methods of Eve Gentry, one of the original Pilates Elders who was directly taught by Joseph Pilates. Eve Gentry's work is suitable for clients in need of rehabilitation as well as the advanced practitioner. She has 11 years of Pilates teaching experience and is also an avid skier and well-rounded athlete. Paul first became a member of the PHD Team in 2023, and rejoined us in 2025 as an Apprentice. He is a personal trainer in addition to teaching Pilates Private Lessons for Pilates by Everlea Studio . He has a great eye for detail and loves coaching beginners, helping them to build great fitness foundations. Madison started Pilates with Everlea as a student at Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA in 2022. She joined our Team as a Studio Assistant in 2025 and is an Assistant Teacher for group classes on Monday evenings in addition to offering Apprentice Private Lessons in Pilates, Barre and Dance.

Ewa has 20 year experience with the Chakra System, Healing Touch, Reiki, and RoHun. She joined our Team in 2025 and offers monthly Restoration Meditation Sessions, offering guided meditation and healing sessions at the studio. Ewa additionally serves Pilates by Everlea Studio as our Travel and Logistics Manager.

Vincent is a Norfolk native who got his start in Pilates more than a decade ago while in school for dance. He completed a Pilates apprenticeship in Richmond, along with a BFA in Dance and Choreography, and started teaching in 2015. Since then, he has taught in Richmond, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in a variety of settings including small studios, large gyms, and physical therapy clinics. Still a performer at heart, he brings the energy of the theatre to the studio, because the world is a stage for us to be dancing through life!

Immy Xu is a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor, completing her Classical training in 2023 through Classical Pilates Education in Miami, FL. She is fluent in both English and Thai and can work with all clients from novice through Advanced.
