Class descriptions

EQUIPMENT CLASSES:


Pilates Reformer

A Reformer is a moving  platform with a spring-and-pulley system which allows clients to stretch and strengthen simultaneously. We limit in-person attendance to 2-3 students to ensure you learn proper form in a safe and warm environment. 

In-person Prerequisite: 1-3 Private Lessons suggested.


Pilates Equipment (Morning & Evening Sessions)

Experience two or more pieces of Pilates equipment in one class, like the Reformer, Pilates Chair, Spine Corrector, and/or Tower. Appropriate for beginner-advanced levels. In-person class size limited to 4 students. 

In-Person Prerequisite: 1-3 Pilates Private Lessons suggested.


Equipment for Seniors

A slower-paced version of our other Equipment Pilates classes. Students still experience two or more pieces of Pilates equipment in one class. In-person class size limited to 4 students. 

In-Person Prerequisite: 1-3 Pilates Private Lessons suggested.



MAT-BASED/ NON-EQUIPMENT CLASSES:


Pilates Mat (Morning & Evening Sessions)

Wanting to learn exercises you can take anywhere? Mat Pilates can support your body in any place at any time since all you'll need is your own body and a towel or mat on the floor! Learn traditional and contemporary exercises to increase your strength and flexibility. We offer modifications throughout to support multiple levels and abilities. 

In-Person and Virtual Prerequisite: You must be able to get down onto and up off of the floor to take Pilates Mat. Virtual students, please have a mat/towel.


Pilates Mat with Props (Morning & Evening Sessions)

A refreshing take on our Pilates Mat classes, adding in Props like foam rollers, Magic Circle, and weights for increased variety. 

In-Person and Virtual Prerequisite: You must be able to get down onto and up off of the floor to take Pilates Mat with Props. Virtual students, please have the aforementioned props.


Barre & Mat (Virtual & In-Person)

A class combining Pilates Mat exercises and Barre technique. Our classes are taught by Pilates instructors who also have degrees in Dance!

In-Person and Virtual Prerequisite: You must be able to get down onto and up off of the floor to take Barre & Mat. Virtual students, please have a dining table chair (no arms) and a mat/towel.


Barre & Dance (Virtual & In-Person)

A class combining Barre technique and low-impact cardio dance. Our classes are taught by Pilates instructors who also have degrees in Dance!

In-Person and Virtual Prerequisite: You must be able to get down onto and up off of the floor to take Barre & Dance. Virtual students, please have a dining table chair (no arms) and a mat/towel. Shoes are optional.
